That super shiny spot in the middle of the creek is where people have thrown coins. I think it's similar to the western "wishing well/fountain". I gave it a couple tries, but was unsuccessful ㅜㅜ(Korean-style crying face).
This is the super tall Buddha! The information said that it was built in hope of a reunited Korea.
